KARL HUGO boosts its machining workshop

KARL HUGO continues its strategy of investing in state-of-the-art equipment with the acquisition of a new MTE FBF-M 8000 moving-column milling machine.

More robust, more powerful, tested and proven, it supports the increased production rate of yokes for particle accelerators, complementing our boring machines,” says Stephan Hugo, CEO and Technical Director. “This machine opens up new possibilities in terms of precision, efficiency, and versatility.”

Precision and power driving innovation

With a head adjustable to one-hundredth of a degree and a travel range of 8 meters, the MTE FBF-M 8000 machines large components with optimal quality. “Its increased capacity for handling large workpieces meets the requirements of the most demanding industrial projects,” emphasizes the Technical Director.

Productivity and reliability

Equipped with an automatic head-change system, the MTE FBF-M 8000 can be quickly adapted to a variety of operations. It also allows multiple operations that previously required several machines to be consolidated on a single machine. “This results in significant time, logistics, and handling savings.” Thanks to high power, advanced cooling solutions, and additional options, the milling machine can operate intensively and reliably.

A forward-looking strategy

With this equipment, KARL HUGO reaffirms its strategy of investing in sustainable and reliable technologies to enhance quality, productivity, and industrial innovation. The company once again demonstrates its commitment to being a leading player in precision machining, anticipating future industrial needs and strengthening its ability to produce complex components within optimized timelines.

This new acquisition perfectly illustrates our commitment: combining state-of-the-art equipment with the expertise of our teams to provide our clients with innovative and high-performance solutions,” adds the Technical Director.
