KARL HUGO renews its EN ISO 3834-2 certification!

At KARL HUGO, quality is no coincidence. It is the result of well-defined processes and high technical standards. Our latest TÜV audit has confirmed this once again: our welding processes continue to meet the comprehensive quality requirements of the EN ISO 3834-2 international standard. Our certification has been renewed for another three years.

EN ISO 3834-2 specifies the highest level of quality requirements within the series of standards for fusion welding of metallic materials. The scope of the standard goes far beyond the quality of individual welds, covering the entire manufacturing process, including material purchasing and inspection, work preparation, personnel qualifications, welding operations, and final quality inspections.

During the full-day audit, two TÜV auditors conducted a thorough assessment of our internal processes. They reviewed both our organisational structures and the practical implementation of quality requirements in our steel fabrication department.

The outcome was highly positive. The auditors confirmed the quality of our processes and approved the renewal of our certification. As with every audit, they also identified a few areas for improvement, which we will use to further refine our operations.

This certification provides important assurance to our customers that even our most complex welded structures are manufactured in accordance with internationally recognised quality standards.

We are delighted with this positive result, which reflects the dedication and attention to detail that our team demonstrates in its work every day!
