Tax-free voluntary overtime has been in place at KARL HUGO since 1 June !

The new regulation on tax-free voluntary overtime has been applied within the company since 1 June 2026. The corresponding law was published on the same day, creating new opportunities for employers and employees alike.
For us, this regulation is much more than a legal update. It is a concrete way to offer our employees a genuine benefit while strengthening our competitiveness as a company.

Voluntary overtime should be worthwhile. When employees are willing to work extra hours voluntarily, their commitment should also translate into a tangible advantage. The new regulation makes this possible: full-time employees can work up to 240 hours of voluntary overtime per year and receive tax-free pay for these hours.

After presenting and discussing the new system internally at the end of May, all eligible employees signed the relevant agreement. This created the basis for implementing the regulation at KARL HUGO.

To be more specific, over 40 of our staff can now take advantage of tax-free voluntary overtime!
