Since 1 June 2026, KARL HUGO has been applying the new regulation on tax-free voluntary overtime within the company. This allows full-time employees to work up to 240 hours of voluntary overtime per year and receive tax-free pay for these hours.
For KARL HUGO, this regulation is much more than a legal update. It offers our employees a genuine financial benefit while also strengthening our flexibility and competitiveness as a company.After the new system was presented internally at the end of May, all eligible employees signed the relevant agreement. Today, more than 40 KARL HUGO employees can benefit from tax-free voluntary overtime!
This opportunity is particularly relevant in East Belgium, close to the Luxembourgish border. It helps make work in the region more attractive: shorter commutes, a better quality of life and the opportunity to increase net income through voluntary overtime.
